NTCIR-17 MedNLP-SC Social Media (SM) Subtask provides pseudo-Twitter messages in a cross-language and multi-label corpus, covering four languages (Japanese, English, German, and French), and annotated with 22 labels (one for each of the 22 ADE symptoms) such as “nausea,” diarrhea,” “fatigue,” “vomiting,” “loss of appetite,” “headache,” “fever,” “interstitial lung disease,” “liver damage,” “dizziness,” “pain,” “alopecia,” “analgesic asthma syndrome,” “renal impairment,” “hypersensitivity,” “insomnia,” “constipation,” “bone marrow dysfunction,” “abdominal pain,” “hemorrhagic cystitis,” “rash,” and “stomatitis.” For more details, please refer to the task overview paper and task web page (https://sociocom.naist.jp/mednlp-sc/).
